Nathan is our third child and our first to be born in Africa. He was born a few months after our arrival in Liberia in 1986.
From his teen days Nathan participated in our ministry by helping me (Mark) show evangelistic videos, befriending other expatriates and bringing them to our house (where they could hear the gospel), assisting with the foster babies and partnering with John-Mark as he recorded audio in the local languages for the “God's Story” project.
Nathan graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Audio and Video Production in May, 2009. In college he met Emily Bush, who visited us in Liberia for seven weeks in the summer of 2011. In January 2012 they were married in Cleveland, Ohio. They now have two children: Amelia Rose, born August 18, 2015 and Clara Quilynn, born April 18, 2017.
Nathan works as a freelance video editor, something he greatly enjoys.
